As ashamed as I am that I haven’t been active here for over 3 months, the show must go on. I hope that I will be a little more committed to the blog this time, I don’t want to leave you guys with nothing to see.
So, as you can probably guess, I have been up to a lot in the past few months. I have attended a few Rotary events, made new friends, and changed host families for the first time.
This has all been wonderful and crazy and although there is not a lot of detail in this post, I think that it is mostly important to say that I’m generally just very happy at the moment.
On another note, I did post a video a little while ago on my YouTube channel if you are interested in watching it, you can here.
I would really like to keep making these sorts of videos, so if you liked it, be sure to let me know!
So this is it. It has taken me a while to get around to it, but I made a blog. Woopity woop.
I arrived in France around 3 weeks ago, and so far it has been truly amazing. 3 weeks is a long time, so here is a list of my highlights and favourite things about France thus far.
- my host families dog
- my host family
- snow + skiing
- french people speaking french
- french people speaking english
- the churches
- my friends @ school
- this candle place that is the epitome of heaven
- going to a costume museum
- waking up at 6am every morning
- european handball
I know I will have lots of stories to tell and people to introduce, but I think all of that will come in good time. This is just a basic introduction, and proof of life for my mum. Sorry for the short post, but better ones are coming xo
